When you are walking with God it is important to keep an open mind. This is because God’s ways are not our ways. We often have preconceived ideas about how and what God will provide for us. Because of this, when your circumstances are contrary to your expectation, you can easily conclude that all hope is lost.

The children of Israel prayed to God for food in the wilderness; in the morning a strange whitish substance had fallen all over the camp. They said “what is this?” They were not used to it, neither had eaten some before.

Exodus 16:15

“And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat.”

They called it “manna”; which means what is this but Moses said, “this is the bread”. He called it bread. To the people, it wasn’t food but to Moses, it was food; bread.

For example, God can provide a job for you that may initially not look like your dream job but it will prove to be.

Are you believing God for something: a house, a spouse, an anointing or a child? Remember that the fact that something is strange does not mean it cannot satisfy your deep hunger.

Keep an open mind for God can provide strange answers in strange ways.
