Proverbs 18:21
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Imagine how a carpenter’s son could get up and say, “No one can go to heaven except through Me.” What a bold confession. Jesus was neither a politician nor a leading scribe, but He confessed who God said He was. He understood the principle of confession.
Most often we wait for our situation to change before we align our confessions to the Word. Romans 4:17 says, “God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” That is how God operates.
We are always waiting for our situation to change before we believe the Word of God. You do not have to wait for your situation to change. Your confessions have to change, and then your situation will change. The Word of God stands on its own. It lives and abides forever.
Confess the Word of God. Speak to every situation in your life and it will change!
