Have you ever wondered whether you can laugh again? Maybe you have been through a bitter divorce and have given up on marriage, maybe you failed an exam and have resigned yourself to it, or you are struggling financially and think it is too late for you because you are now above 50?
God sent a message to Sarah through an angel that she was going to have a child. Sarah laughed because she felt it was too late; she was too old and experiencing menopause.
Genesis 18:12
“Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”
Sometimes, age can make you feel you are beyond redemption, because all your opportunities and chances have slipped away. We must not allow age to determine what God can do. There are great men of God who God used after sixty. There are people who were broke but who became millionaires after sixty. There are people who have married and given birth after forty so you can laugh again. It is better to die in hope than to die in unbelief.
Come out of the shadows and begin to believe God for great things. Irrespective of your age, the power of God can make you laugh again.
