Ezekiel 18:21-22
“but if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die all his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.”

Have you ever had to deal with “Guilt?” Maybe you are feeling guilty about an abortion, someone you wronged, or something you did. Guilt can plague you with fear, and depression if you do not know how to deal with it.

I have a friend who struggled with guilt even after he had become born again. It hindered his prayer, and stole his joy.

How can you deal with it?

First of all, you have to repent or turn away from your current sins and become born again.

Secondly, you must begin to walk according to God’s commandments.

When you take these two steps, God has promised He will not mention your guilt again, because He has made you righteous. Any voice that mentions your guilt is the voice of the devil.

Let’s rely on God’s word instead of our feelings to overcome guilt!
