Ecclesiastes 5:10
“He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.”
Many people have put money first instead of God. I know a man who worked very hard when he went abroad. He rose to become a bank manager and made a lot of money. In those days it was not easy for black people to rise up to such positions, but he made it.
With time, he retired and returned to his home country. Shortly after, he had an accident and died. All he ever dreamed and worked for failed. All his aspirations ended tragically in a day.
He put emphasis on only one thing: money. He did not know that there is someone more important than money, and that person is God.
The fact that you have life is even enough for you to know God is the ultimate. It is God who gives you permission to live. If He does not grant you that permission, you are a dead man.
Make a decision today to make God priority in everything you do!
