Testimonies, Encouragement, and Strength!

Life is made up of good times and bad times, highs and lows, valleys, and mountains. The ability to pick yourself up when you are down is very important because tenacity is a requirement for success.

When your relationship fails, you are sick, unemployed, or you have failed an exam, the temptation to quit can become very strong. Your ability to bounce back will depend on the “mental audios and videos” you regurgitate in your mind.

When you feed your mind with “negative testimonies” of current failures, lab reports, bitter memories, etc it will inject your emotions with discouragement and drain your energy.

Your key to victory lies in a disciplined mind; the ability to keep out bad memories and mentally regurgitate past testimonies, victories, and breakthroughs God gave you. Positive images will displace depression and give you strength. That was one of David’s secrets. Let’s examine it.

Psalms 143:4-5
“So my spirit grows faint within me; My heart within me is dismayed. I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works And consider what your hands have done.”

David said, “I meditate and I remember your works.”
It’s time to meditate on past testimonies. Has God done something for you in the past? Regurgitate it, ruminate on it, and fight back!
