Imagine you could literally receive Jesus, the son of God into your home; I am sure many will jump at such an opportunity. What an honor that will be. I have good news for you, you can literally receive Jesus into your life.
To be able to do this, your mind must be able to understand and accept spiritual concepts. First of all, you must understand Jesus is alive but in the form of a spirit. You will also need a spiritual methodology to achieve this.
John 12:48
“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”
When we receive the word of God and obey it, we “spiritually” invite Jesus to be involved in our lives and home. A rejection of his word is the rejection of Jesus himself.
Secondly, the word is a Judge. We can use the word to judge any situation or anybody. For example, it can judge who you should marry if you have two alternatives. The word is not just a judge in time but also in eternity. When you die the word will be used to judge you.
Receive the word because you will be receiving the Son and the judge into your life.
