Numbers 21:5-6
“And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.”
It is important to know the nature of the people in your life so you can know how to interact with them effectively. For example, in an office situation, you must know what your boss hates and avoid it. What you think is important may not be important to him.
When Israel built the golden calf, God became angry with them, but he did not tell them they would not enter the Promised Land. However when they murmured after the twelve spies brought an evil report, God punished them and prevented them from entering the Promised Land.
When Israel murmured against God, He allowed serpents to bite them to death. God hates murmuring and murmuring releases the serpent, “the devil”.
I remember murmuring and complaining about something once. Later, I had a vision and saw myself in prison and being guarded by demons. I had opened the door for the serpent. I pleaded with God and out of mercy, I was released.
Stop murmuring for God hates it!
