“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.”
To be creative means to bring into existence something that did not exist before. For example, when you lose your job, you can decide to create your own business.
What can you do to enhance your creativity? One thing you can do is to forget the past.
God said to Israel, “The former things will not be remembered,”; “I will create.” Until you are willing to forget what exists, you cannot create what does not exist.
For example, I am not a good cook but recently, I decided to create new menus out of our traditional meals. I had a discussion with my wife and a friend of mine who used to be a chef. They found my ideas very interesting and helped me to create new recipes.
The recipes are nice, and I am enjoying them. I intend to write a recipe book in the future after more trials.
To be able to create these new recipes, I had to forget about our traditional meals in order to create new ones.
Are you ready to be creative? Forget what you know and start trying new things, and your creativity will begin to shine through.
