“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

It is important that we develop our trust in God. It is very easy for our allegiance to shift. Sometimes, your trust can be in your children, your finances, your education or your position. Let me tell you something, your position can always change. One sickness alone can remove you from your position. Money can always fail.
God is looking for people who will put their trust in him. Sometimes, trusting in God will involve the abandonment of your mind. When you are following God, the road or path he will take you may not make sense mentally.

“…Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

If you are to follow God, you must be prepared to trust in him. Your heart must be your steering wheel. When your mind sends a contrary message to the word of God, your heart must overrule it.

You will need faith to trust in God. Step out into the thin air by faith and God will catch you!
