One day each one of us will have to keep our appointment with death. There are however people who sometimes have a premature appointment with death.
One of the aims of the devil is to kill and he can use sickness, accidents and other methods to eliminate you. I once prayed for someone who was dying from cancer. Death looked imminent but prayer cancelled the appointment and postponed it.
Do you know anyone that the devil is trying to kill? There is something you can do to cancel it.
Psalms 79:11
“Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die”
What can you do?
1. Pray to God
This verse is a heartfelt prayer on behalf of someone who was dying.
2. Ask God to hear the “sighing” groaning or pain of the person.
3. Remind God he has the power to turn the situation around.
4. Ask him to preserve the sick person.
Finally, you can confess this prayer everyday till you see the fulfillment of this promise.
