Why is it that although some people become born again, it does not seem to reflect on their lives; spiritually, economically, maritally or socially?
“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge…For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 1:5-8
Every product that exists in a raw form will have little value until value is added to it. For example, raw rice has a lower value than rice served in a restaurant because value has been added to it.
There are Christians who assume that because they have given their lives to Christ by faith, it qualifies them to be successful at school, in marriage, business or anything. They fail to add other qualities to their faith.
The result is a barren or unfruitful Christian life. They may live in sin, be unemployed, depressed or frustrated.
Until you add a good character, knowledge, hard work and other qualities to your faith, you will have nothing to show for being a Christian.
Decide to be a more fruitful Christian by adding to your faith!
