Psalms 101:6-7
“Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.”

So David waxed greater and greater: for the Lord of hosts was with him.(1 Chron. 11:9)
The presence of God brings a supernatural influence that makes things work out for you.

What does it take for God to be with you? The scripture outlines two things you must do and two things you must not do. Let’s examine it closely.

1. Be faithful.
God dwells with the faithful. Time and trials test our faithfulness. Faithfulness will make you dwell in his house.

2. Be holy; walk in a perfect way.
This takes us to the next step. When we dwell in his house we will have the opportunity to serve him. Holiness will cause God to choose you for service and service draws the power of God.

3. Don’t be a hypocrite; “he that worketh deceit.”
It takes sincerity to continue dwelling in his house or presence; we must avoid deceitfulness.

4. Don’t tell lies.
Lying drives away the Spirit and invites the devil. Peter said to Ananias; “why has Satan filled your heart to lie”

These are four keys that can help us to carry the presence of God.
