Mark 8:36
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
One of the things that paying your tithe and giving offerings does is release supernatural financial blessings. It is a spiritual thing that has an effect on natural things. People who are not wise never give to the Lord. They would build houses for their girlfriends, but never for the Lord.
The three wise men, after presenting themselves to the Lord, blessed Him financially. Haggai 1:6-7 reads, “Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.”
When things are not going well in your life, you must ruminate. This Scripture says, “Consider the way you live your life.” You may be doing some business all right, but when money comes in, it mysteriously vanishes. Some do not pay their tithes or give offerings but can give to any course, like their favourite football team or alma mater.
Do you give to the Lord? The reason why things may not be going right for you is because you do not invest your finances in things of God.
Make sure you support the work of God with your tithes and offerings and God will support yours!
