Godly wisdom is one of the most important qualities to develop.

You need wisdom to make quality decisions and your decisions will determine the outcome of your life. Let’s examine two keys that can help us develop Godly wisdom.

Psalms 107:43

Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord.

1. Observation

Wise people are observant. “Let the one who is wise heed these things.” To heed means to observe, give attention or listen. For example, in the book of proverbs, we are told to learn wisdom by observing ants. Although ants are not big, through consistency, hard-work and not despising little things, they are able to build huge houses. This means, although your resources may be small you can also do extraordinary things using the same principles. I bought my first car using these principles. I learnt it from ants.

2. Meditation.

“Ponder the loving deeds of the lord.” To ponder means to meditate or think deeply. For example, when you think deeply about sin you will come to the conclusion that God wants you to be holy because he loves you and not because he wants you to be unhappy. He wants to preserve your health, finances, marriage and your soul. Sin destroys all.

Do you want to be wise? Be observant and meditate and wisdom will be yours.
