Love is very important, even animals respond to it. Everyone wants to be loved but how can you tell who loves you in your office, family or circle of friends?
1 John 4:18 reads, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
Many times, we are afraid to tell our real secrets, problems, struggles and blessings to other people because we are afraid they will use it against us or may not have our interests at heart. When you are not afraid to expose your weaknesses, problems and issues to someone, it is called perfect love.
Perfect love makes you relax because it casts out fear. You can talk about your blessings, fears, and challenges without looking over your shoulder. You can be naked and not be afraid. We all need people like that in our lives; it could be your spouse, pastor or friend.
The one person who you can always bare your spirit, soul and body, without being afraid is Jesus. Open your heart to Him in prayer and feel his love!
