Nehemiah 4:9
“Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.”
Anytime you want to do something in this life, there are enemies who will like to frustrate you. When Nehemiah wanted to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, he encountered a lot of opposition.
He did two things to protect himself
1. He prayed
2. He watched.
Never go to sleep when dealing with people, even when they are Christians. Vigilance is key in marriage, business, and life in general.
Keep your eyes wide open because Samson’s hair was removed when he slept!
