Are you suffering from any form of torment? Torment means pain of the body, emotions or the mind. It also means a source of pain.
There are people who are tormented by nightmares. A woman once told me of being frequently raped in dreams. Sometimes, marital problems can be a source of great torment. What do you do when your spouse is having an affair with someone else?
I want to offer you one probable spiritual solution: forgiveness.
Matthew 18:34-35.
And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
According to this scripture, the inability to forgive can open the door of torment and forgiveness can close it.
Is there someone you are finding hard to forgive? Why not try forgiveness, it may put an end to your torment.
