Galatians 2:6
“As for those who were held in high esteem – whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism – they added nothing to my message.”

It’s important for Christians to maintain the integrity of God’s word. Integrity means: to keep something as a whole and not alter it. Paul said, “I added nothing to my message”
How can you maintain the integrity of God’s word?

  1. Don’t let the word be validated or determined by reputation or rank.
Paul said, “those who were held in high esteem made no difference to his message.”
The reputation of people, be they: signs and wonders ministers, miracle workers, prophets, or experienced ministers, must establish the truth. Truth must always be determined by the word. The fact that your pastor said something does not make it true.
  2. The realization that God has no favorites.
Paul said, “God shows no favoritism.” God deals with us based on His word. The fact that you have a lower or higher rank: spiritually, economically, socially, or of a different gender makes no difference. It’s like the law of gravity; it does not discriminate. You will die if you fall from a tall building, irrespective of who you are.

For example, it’s easy for an anointed person to assume that forgiveness or holiness does not apply to him any longer.

We are all equal before the word, so know it and keep it!
