“Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity.”
One of the issues we all have to contend with is people who speak against us in secret; the secret counsel of the wicked. As you read this, someone may be destroying your relationship with his tongue. Your promotion may be denied because of an office colleague who does not like your face simply because you remind him of his old girlfriend who broke his heart.
Have you ever been in a situation where you have been hated without reason? How do you defend yourself when you don’t even know you are under verbal attack and not offered the opportunity to do so?
God, who sees in secret and hears everything, can help you. Ask Him in prayer to deliver you from the secret counsel of the wicked and against your faceless enemies!
