How can you open the gates or doors for God to intervene in your situation?
Maybe you are dealing with a life threatening disease, a wayward child, a terrible marriage, or a desperate financial situation. The psalmist tells us your head is the gate and door God will use to come into your situation. Whether God enters or not depends on us.
The gates can be opened when you “Lift up your head” and then the king of glory will come in. This implies prayer.
At the raising of Lazarus and the feeding of five thousand, Jesus lifted up His head to heaven and prayed. The gates and doors to the situation were opened, God came in and there was a miracle.
I remember once praying and opening the gate for God to heal a man with cancer of the liver; God healed him.
Can you now please open the gate for God to come into your situation by lifting up your head in prayer?
