1 John 5:4
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.”
I had a powerful vision some time ago. In the vision, I was witnessing and bringing people to church. As I continued doing this, an angel of the Lord appeared to me and told me to stop. Looking very angry, He took me by the hand and showed me a tall mast. He put me on top of the mast and said, “From now, you are not supposed to call people and witness to them. Sit there and broadcast from there.”
Immediately, I knew I was supposed to start radio ministry, but because I had never thought of it, financing it became a major concern. I was in my room one day when I heard my phone ring. It was a foreign number. When I picked up the call, the person on the other end told me how my messages were blessing him and how God had laid on his heart to finance my radio ministry.
As if that were not enough, a bank came to me and said they wanted to support. Within a short time I had signed a contract for two radio stations and had paid in full. All I needed to unlock my financial breakthrough was a revelation.
All this happened because of a vision. This is how my radio ministry was birthed. The word “born” in the Scripture above means initiated or started. The moment God initiates something and you support it with faith, you are bound to succeed. Most of the time when God initi- ates something we turn away from it and think it is impossible.
If you want to succeed in business, you must pray to God to show you the exact kind of business you should do. He may give you a dream, burden, or vision, which will guide you.
Let God take the initiative in all you do!
