Numbers 17:5
“And it shall come to pass, [that] the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.”
Someone recently asked me how he could deal with his critics and the politics in his office. I replied to him with one word: “Excellence!”
When Aaron faced office politics, God said, “I will make your almonds blossom.” In other words, I will make you excel above everyone else in your office, then the murmuring, politics and criticism will cease.
Politics is a cheap tool that people without ability, capacity, and qualifications use to advance in any given system. They have no choice because they lack results. Politics can bring sudden progress, but it will be temporary. Eventually, “Excellence” will overtake it.
When you excel at anything, the voices of racism, sexism, bigotry, criticism, and malice will begin to fade away.
Seek to excel in your given area and the politicians and critics will be silenced forever!
