Leviticus 8:30-31
“Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments and his sons and their garments.”
The anointing is symbolic of the power of God. It can heal the sick, create finances and, raise the dead.
What are some of the secrets to obtaining the anointing? Let’s examine it.
1. You need blood
Moses took the blood and anointing oil.
This blood is symbolic of the blood of Jesus. You need to be saved and washed by the blood.
2. You need an altar.
The anointing oil was taken from the altar. Sacrifices were offered on the altar. This is symbolic of the name of Jesus. Every sacrifice of praise, money, e.t.c has to be offered with the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus also releases the power of God.
3. You need an agent.
God used Moses as an agent to anoint Aaron and his sons. It could also be a divine encounter, dream, vision, e.t.c.
4. You need holy garments.
The garments of Aaron and his sons had to be sanctified or made holy.
5. Finally, you must be prepared to serve the Lord.
Aaron and his sons were serving in ministry.
