Hosea 8:12
“I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.”
The word of God is strange. It has incredible stories like a man called Jonah, who was swallowed by a fish; Daniel who stayed in the midst of hungry lions and fire unharmed.
It has also got strange principles like loving your enemies, and being born again spiritually. Nicodemus asked Jesus, “How can a man enter his mother’s womb the second time and be born again?”
The word “Strange” means something that has never been before known, seen or heard. Although God’s word is strange, it is the channel for greatness.
The fact that something is strange does not mean it is not true. I have been living by the word of God for at least thirty years, and can testify that God’s word is true.
Do you want to have a great life, marriage, career or relationship with God? Apply the “strange” principles of God’s word and have a “great” life here and when you die.
