Have you ever been in a situation where you put in the effort but saw little results? It could be a relationship, job, business, school or even prayer.

What could be the cause?

Ecclesiastes 10:15

“The toil of fools wearies them; they do not know the way to town.”

1. Effort is not always equals to results. It’s possible to “toil” and be “weary,” and still have no fruit to show for it. Effort must be coupled with the right things.

2. Knowledge is important for results.I remember the first time I worked on a construction site. As a teenager with no skills, I decided to find work as a laborer. A week passed and I had no job. I fasted and prayed. One day, the Holy Spirit pointed out my foolishness to me. He said, “Which laborer wears black church shoes to work?” I immediately went and bought builders boots. The following day, I had a job.Knowledge plus toil equals results.

3. Methodology is important. The “way to town” or the way or method you use to do something is important. Have you played golf before? There is an unusual way to grip the club. If you grip it your own way, you cannot hit the ball well, although you may have put in the effort.

Effort + Knowledge + Methodology = Results.

Don’t give up!
