Proverbs 13:20
“he that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

There is a difference between being educated and being wise. There are educated people who are not wise and there are uneducated people who are wise.

One bible definition of “Wisdom” is the ability to use knowledge. Proverbs 15:2 says, “The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

You can be an engineer and not be able to manufacture anything. You can be a lecturer in finance and be struggling financially. What is missing is wisdom.

What can you do to acquire it? Fellowship or company with people who are where you want to go. By association, there will be spiritual skills and technology transfer. On the other hand, if you company with fools, you will end up where they are going.

A dull student should fellowship with sharp minds and a failing husband should fellowship with successful ones.

Grow in wisdom by choosing your friends!
