2 Corinthians 4:13
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”
What gives life to the body is the spirit. Without the spirit, the body is lifeless; it is like a car that has no engine. When God created Adam from the dust of the ground, he was lifeless till God breathed into him the breath of life. Air from the mouth of God gave him life!
We all have dreams. We may have dreams of a blissful marriage, career, money or ministry. For Christians, a dream is an intangible material or substance called faith. Hebrews 11:6 defines faith as, the “Substance of things hoped for.”
Confession is the spirit of faith! It gives life to your dreams and makes them a reality. For example, when you fall in love with someone, it’s kind of manageable till you talk about it; then you fall hopelessly in love. Your speaking just gave life or spirit to it.
Your dreams are lying lifeless, waiting for you to supply spirit or life to them. The spirit or life of your dreams is not in your silence but it’s in your speaking. Begin to confess your dreams in faith and watch it spring to life.
Fill your heart with the word because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks!
