Sorrow is part of human experience. Whether you like it or notlife can be sorrowful and no one is exempt from it. Death is an example of a painful experience. The death of a loved one can be devastating.

Other issues like a broken relationshipbetrayal, misunderstanding, financial difficulties etc. are all avenues that can create sorrow.

One thing we must learn to do is to manage our sorrow.

 Psalms 39:2

I was dumb with silence; I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

From this verse, we learn that not talking about our pain can stir up, intensifor prolong sorrow. The Psalmist said, “My sorrow was stirred. Why? Because he refused to talk about it.

Is there a marital or work issue you have refused to talk about though it’s killing you? Are you sorrowing about something?

Open your mouth and speak because speaking quenches sorrow!
