The Pleasure Of The Lord!

“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.” Isa. 53:10 One thing modern day Christians find difficult to deal with is pain and suffering. Many people conclude God is absent when they have to endure some form of difficulty or pain. The fact that you are suffering does not necessarily mean you are outside the will of God. For example, when a church member is rebuked by a pastor publicly, he or she may easily leave the church because of humiliation. It may well be God who wanted a public rebuke to change something in the person; it could be pride. When Jesus suffered on the cross it was the “pleasure of the Lord” not His pleasure. There are things that happen in life which may not suit us but suits God and His agenda. Pray for discernment to know the difference between the pleasure of the Lord and your pleasure, to know when suffering is the pleasure of the Lord! Kakra...

The Anointing of Correction!

The anointing is the power of God. In the scriptures, oil is usually used as a symbol of the anointing. The anointing can be derived in several ways the most common being prayer. There are however other lesser known ways through which the anointing can flow towards you.    Psalms 141:5 “Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness:and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head:for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.”   Correction brings the anointing or the power of God. How can we tap into this?  1. You must be open to correction. Sin drives away the anointing but repentance and obedience attract God. When Saul sinned against the Lord and was corrected by Samuel he refused to repent. Because of that he lost the anointing. David on the other hand quickly accepted his sin; concerning his adulterous relationship with Bathsheba. He remained anointed. 2. We must recognize that God uses people to speak to us. Sometimes, God borrows people’s voices to correct us and we must discern it.  3. We must change our perspective concerning pain. Pain can be a source of kindness and good. It may be unpleasant but it’s for our good.  4. Finally, correction releases the anointing or oil. This is because repentance and holiness attracts the presence and power of God.  Be open to correction and watch yourself drip with oil. Kakra...

Got A Job At A Multinational Oil Company!

Dear Kakra, God has done it again! I have been a partner of your ministry since 2014 and my life has never been the same. I finished my undergraduate studies in 2013 and unexpectedly got a place for my national service in the oil industry. Immediately after my national service, I got a job with an oil company. Right about that time, I got a scholarship for my masters in a top university in the UK. I therefore resigned and went to school for further studies. On my return to Ghana in January 2016, things became unexpectedly difficult. A director of a multinational company who promised me a place in their company in Ghana suddenly stopped replying my emails and eventually gave me excuses that, there was no space in their office to accommodate me. I ended up being without a job close to a year. I recently wrote to you about an interview I was scheduled to attend for a position in a multinational oil company. You replied that you had prayed for me and that God would favour me. After the interview, I completely forgot about the job because I could not answer most of the questions in the aptitude test because of the limited time available.  Just a few days later, I was part of 4 candidates who were called for the last stage of the interview. To the glory of God,...
