Did you know that confessions drive out demons? No wonder scripture says “They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Mark 7:29 And he said unto her, “For this saying, go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.” A woman expressed faith in Jesus by telling him “even the children eat of the crumbs which falls from their masters table”; she said she only needed a crumb of healing from Jesus. Jesus told her, her confession had made her child whole. I want you to note that, Jesus said it was the confession or the saying of the woman which had made it possible. “Do not err,my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Jam. 1:16-17 Do not “err” means do not make a mistake. One of the devil’s cardinal weapons is deception. For example, there is a common deception that money is the only source of good things. Although it can be a source of good things, it can also be a source of troubles, depending on your relationship with God. God, not money, is the source of all good things. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17. We are reminded that all good things have their source in God. A good spouse is from the Lord.”House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.” Prov. 19:14 Good sleep is from the Lord. “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.” Ps. 4:8 Peace and joy are from the Lord. “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Rom. 14:17 Seek God and you will discover He is the source...

Do you have a specific plan that you want to implement? Then it means you have a project on your mind. It could be a project to be married, start your own business, serve God, become a full time minister, build a house,propose to someone you love and the list goes on. There are many projects that die in people’s hearts and minds without ever seeing the light of day. Some get started but end up as  uncompleted projects. Nehemiah had a project on his mind to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. His enemies tried to stop the project; not with a bomb but with a more deadly weapon called fear. “For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands”. Nehemiah 6:9 He was misrepresented, lied about, maligned, made a mockery, belittled and became a victim of false accusation but nothing could stop him. The idea was to “weaken his hands” through the weapon of fear. Fear has made many people to become spectators of their own lives. They keep watching what they could have become instead of becoming involved to determine the outcome of their own lives. It is time to damn the consequences and break out of the shadow of fear. Just yesterday, I was having a conversation with a businessman who was wondering whether his dreams will come to pass. It is frustrating when you know where you want to go but do not know how to get there. Sometimes, we have dreams that seem impossible; you may wonder whether you can have a child because of what the doctor has said, or whether you can be a committed Christian if you give your life to Christ. When it was announced to the Virgin Mary, that she was going to have a child, this was her response: Luke 1:34-35 reads, “Then said Mary unto the angel, how shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” When you face the impossible, remember the power of God can make your dreams come true.
