“After that He appeared in another form, unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.”
In our walk with God, it is important to develop a flexible mind. When Jesus appeared in another form, His disciples could not recognize Him because they had a fixed mental image of what He looked like. God is not a formula; He can relate with us in different ways. He used Moses’ enemies to raise him up and care for him. Jesus, on the other hand was raised by His parents.
Jesus once sent His disciples without money, but another time asked them to take money. When we put God into systems, procedures, and rules that cannot change, we run the risk of missing Him.
Be vigilant and discerning to recognize the different ways God works, otherwise you may not recognize him when he is walking right next to you.
