1 Corinthians 2:10-12
“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”
One of the things that God will give you when He opens the heavens is revelation. Before you can have anything, yo7 must first see it. If I am giving you a handkerchief, for instance, and you cannot see it, you cannot receive it.
Deuteronomy 29:29 reads, “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” What you can see is what belongs to you.
To be able to receive, God must reveal things to you. When a man is blindfolded, how can he receive?
Second Timothy 1:9 reads, “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.”
Your calling was given to you before you existed. Your wedding was organised before Adam existed. Your car was manufactured before Adam existed.
I have a little daughter. Before she was born, I looked at the ultrasound and got to know she was a girl. I started making preparations before she was born. I gave her a name, provided a room for her, bought her a cot, bed, toys; I even knew the school she was going to attend. If I being evil know how to give good gifts unto my children, how much more your Father which is in heaven?
God saw your ultrasound before the world began. God has prepared your wife, children, calling, and finances. All you have to do is to see so you can receive it.
Ask God to open your eyes to see all that He has prepared for you!
