Ezekiel 11:2,13
“Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city: And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died.”
Evil has a voice because the devil can influence people to give wicked counsel; especially to people in power.
Nations can be wrecked because of the counsel of one person. Marriages can be broken and destinies destroyed because of wicked counsel. Businesses can collapse because of wrong counsel by one person.
In the time of Jeremiah, there were particular people who were the source of wicked counsel. One such person was Pelatiah. Jeremiah prayed and prophesied against those who were giving wicked counsel in his city.
The Lord slew Pelatiah in response to the prayer because he was one of them.
Pray that the Lord will frustrate the wicked counsel of people concerning your country, your church, your family, your work, and your very life.
