“Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.”
Whether you are aware or not, we all choose a god to serve. One definition of a god is; a person or thing that is greatly loved or admired. You can choose a god consciously or unconsciously.
What you love most is indicative of what your god is. It could be money, power fame or a person. As Christians, God is supposed to be our number one love.
The importance of the god you choose is usually revealed in a time of crisis. You can come to a point in life where everything(money, fame, power) you have has failed. It’s in those times that, the god you have chosen becomes important.
The God of Israel, the Almighty can save you in times of crisis, so make sure to choose him as the right God. Cry unto him in times of crisis and he will come and save you.
