I want us to examine a scripture that explains how you too can walk closely with God.
Revelation 3:4
“Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.”
In one of the letters to the churches in the book of revelation, God commended some members of the church and promised to walk closely with them. What was the reason?
They had not defiled their garments. To defile means to stain. They had not stained their garments with sin. Because of this, God counted them worthy to walk with Him.
