Exodus 12:36
“And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.”

The reason why God empowered the people of Israel and granted them favour in the eyes of the Egyptians was because He knew in the future He would make a demand on them.

It would be unreasonable for God to place a financial demand on you when He has not made the provision for you. When He demands something, it means He has already made the provision, and He knows you have the strength and capacity to meet it, “He will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able” (1 Cor. 10:13).

Amongst a host of other things, God told Moses to speak to the people to bring Him an offering, “And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass” (Ex. 25:3). In verse 8, God gave the reason why they had to bring the offering. It reads, “And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them” (Ex. 25:8). God said, “The reason why I am asking for this offering is because I want to build My church.”

Support the work of God by giving offerings and paying tithes and you will experience the favour and blessings of God!
