Isaiah 53:10

“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.”
One thing modern-day Christians find difficult to deal with is pain and suffering. Many people conclude God is absent when they have to endure some form of difficulty or pain. The fact that you are suffering does not necessarily mean you are outside the will of God.
For example, when a church member is rebuked by a pastor publicly, he or she may easily leave the church because of humiliation. It may well be God who wanted a public rebuke to change something in the person; it could be pride. Jesus suffered on the cross, but it was the “pleasure of the Lord.”
There are things that happen in life which may not suit us but suits God and His agenda.
Pray for discernment to know the difference between the pleasure of the Lord and your pleasure!
