Proverbs 22:1
“…[and] loving favour rather than silver and gold.”
It is important that we attract the favour of God, because it is not everything you can do. Whatever you are doing, you need help from God. I have realised that even in marriage, you need the help of God. You can never tell who you are getting married to. If the person has diabetes in the family, for example, all your children are targets of diabetes.
You will need the help of God! A good wife or husband comes only from God. What makes you help your friend is because of the relationship you have with that person.
Favour will get you a job. Recently, someone called me saying that he was looking for a job. I called someone I knew and told him I was looking for a job for someone. The man said, “Once you have said it, let him come on Monday and I will give him a job.” Just a word settled everything! When we develop a good relationship with God, we will merit His favour.
What gave Jesus such command and influence in His Ministry is because He had a good relationship with God.
Strive today to develop a good relationship with God and enjoy His favour!
