Ezra 9:8
“And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.”
The grace or help of God is available for a period of time and not for an interminable period. We must learn to take our chances when the grace of God becomes available. To everything, there is a season and a time.
In the days of Ezra, Israel was in captivity but the Lord told Ezra he was going to open a brief door of escape for a limited period.
This morning, I had an interesting vision; I was supposed to do something in particular but I had procrastinated and had not yet done it. I was told my time had run out but a brief extension had been granted for me to fulfill it. My grace was running out.
When the grace to enter the ministry, marry, establish a business, build a house, have a baby or be born again comes, we must learn to recognize and take it.
How can you know it? Grace can present itself as opportunity. In this case, God was going to give Israel the opportunity to escape.
When you have the opportunity to do something don’t procrastinate or take it for granted because you may be abusing your grace.
