The devil can steal or take away God’s promises from your heart. It could be a promise of marriage, childbirth or healing.
In Luke 8:12, the Bible says, “Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the Word out of their hearts…”
One day, an angel announced to the Virgin Mary that she was to have a child. She questioned the whole promise and said, “How shall this be?” She could not figure out how it could be done.
Have you ever wondered how a promise of God could be fulfilled in your life?
The devil steals God’s promises by making you question it with one word “How?”
Mary prevented her promise from being stolen by telling the angel, “Be it unto me according to thy word.”
Your job is not to figure out how your promise will come true, that’s God’s job. Yours is to believe. Keep on believing!
