There seems to be a correlation between age and the will of God for our lives. For example, I believe the most ideal season to marry is around 25. I am told that it’s at this age that men produce the highest sperm count. It’s also around this season that women are also very fertile. We are told in Ecclesiastes that there is a time and season for everything. Why would God give something you have no use for?

Acts 7:23
“And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.”

The age 40 I believe is a “spiritual time clock” that can be accompanied with dramatic changes in our lives.

When Moses turned forty, his destiny was birth in his heart. Suddenly he had a strong desire to save his fellow Jews.

Let me give you some examples of people who experienced significant changes at forty.
Isaac and Esau married at forty. The manna lasted for forty years. Israel entered the promised land at forty. Caleb was forty when he was sent to spy the land.

Personally, I experienced a major change in my life when I turned forty.
How old are you and what is God stirring in your heart? Be spiritually sensitive about your age and listen to the voice of the Spirit. He may be telling you something.
