Psalms 1:3
“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

One of the ways to achieve success is the ability to do things in their season. One definition for the word “Season” is a period of time that is favourable to do something.

For example, there is a season in the life of a woman when men may propose marriage. There is a season when it is easy to have a child. The blessed man does things in their season not out of season.

One observation I have made is, we are usually not prepared when it is our season to do a particular thing. We expect the seasons to fit our personal timetable. The seasons however don’t wait for anyone.

We have to plan according to the seasons. By the time you have made all the money at 45, and ready to raise children, you may be suffering from a low sperm count; oligospermia.

Like good strikers, let us learn to strike a goal even from the most awkward positions once it is our season, and succeed with ease!
