Have you ever thought about quitting a fight? Life is a fight and the unfortunate thing is, a fight can spring up at anytime. Sometimes, to make things worse, another fight can develop whilst you are in the middle of a serious fight and at the end of your strength.

You can lose your job in the middle of a divorce. You can have a health problem combine with a financial problem. You need to draw from a reservoir of supernatural strength to win your fights.

Nehemiah 4:14
“And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

What can you do to fight back and not quit? Let’s examine what Nehemiah did.

First of all, he stood up! It’s time to rise from discouragement and decide to fight back.

Secondly, he remembered God. Don’t remember your problems, resources or enemies but rather, remember consciously the promises of God.

Thirdly, you need motivation to fight. He remembered what was at stake. Most of the times, a fight is not just about if you lose; it has bigger implications. For instance, if you lose your marriage, it will affect your children.

Fight for yourself, your children, family and friends. Stand and fight!
