Matthew 2:11
“And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”
In those days, frankincense and myrrh were used to worship the Lord. It was burnt and its smoke ascended unto the Lord. With it, the wise men worshipped the Lord.
“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” (Heb. 13:15).
When we worship God, it brings down His presence. The twenty-four elders cast down their crowns of gold and worshipped God day and night, because when you encounter Him, nothing else matters.
In Psalm 95:6-7 bible says, “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.”
When you wake up in the morning, worship the Lord by thanking Him, praising Him, and praying to Him. His presence will come over your marriage, children, and business, and you will be protected!
