Ecclesiastes 6:1-2
“There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men: a man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.”
Diseases are not only physical in nature, but spiritual also. You can have children and not enjoy them. You can eat and not enjoy it. You can buy a nice TV and never unpack it.
You can marry the most beautiful woman and not enjoy your marriage. Prince Charles married a very beautiful woman called Lady Diana; a woman that people dreamed about. They had a royal wedding and the whole world watched it. It was a big wedding! However, Prince Charles never enjoyed the marriage.
Your inability to enjoy what you have is a spiritual disease. Until God gives you the power to enjoy what you have, you cannot enjoy it.
Make sure you develop a good relationship with God to avoid catching this deadly spiritual virus!
