Hosea 1:7
“But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.”
We often think a problem cannot be solved when it is beyond our capacity and lies outside the realm of our imagination. God can save you without using any method, which is familiar to you.
He told Judah He will not save her by using five familiar weapons; the bow, sword, battle, horses, and horsemen. These can be broken into 3 categories.
The bow, sword, and horses stand for human resources, like money and education.
The battle stands for human energy.
Horsemen stand for human help.
You may not have money, strength or connections but God can still save you. How? By mercy!
Pray for mercy and God will deliver you from trouble!
