Acts 5:32
“And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him”.

The apostles were arrested for performing miracles in the name of Jesus. They were brought before the religious council to explain themselves. They gave two reasons why they could operate in the power of God.

First of all, they were witnesses.
A witness is someone who was present at an event and says what happened. It is possible to preach and teach the word without being a witness. Let me ask you a question; if a professor and the spouse of a man of God were supposed to present a talk about him, which talk will you attend? I believe most people will go for the spouse.
To operate in power you must walk with Jesus and experience him for yourself. This will increase your faith and faith generates power.

Secondly, the Holy Ghost must help you to bear witness because he is the source of power. He must work with you and confirm your words with signs and wonders.
To enlist his help you must walk in obedience towards the word of God as revealed in the scripture and by his Spirit. “The Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him”.

Do you want to move in power? It can be summed up in one word; obedience.
