2 Thessalonians 1:3
“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;”
Faith is the currency of Heaven and if you need to “purchase” anything from God, you will need to have this currency. It could be healing, peace, a spouse, a child, salvation or a financial breakthrough. Jesus frequently said, “According to your faith, be it done unto you.”
How can you grow this currency?
Paul said, “Your faith grows exceedingly and the charity or love of every one of you…” The growth of your faith is related to the growth of your charity or love you have towards other people. Why is this so?
As a minister of God, I can say my passion to see people healed makes me pray for the sick. This love I have for the sick makes me exercise my faith on their behalf. This, in turn, exercises my “faith muscle.” The testimonies that follow also help to increase my faith exceedingly.
