1 Corinthians 10:13 says “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
There are three (3) things I want you to notice about temptation.
It is common: no one is immune from it. Someone has been able to overcome the very same temptation you struggle with. Yes, you can too.
God will not allow you to be tempted above what you can bear.
When the temptation is stronger than you, God will provide a way of escape.
The question is, will you use the fire exit or remain where you are? For example, when you are being pressurized to do something unethical in the office, He may offer you another job opportunity.
The door of escape may be opened for you for a short while, don’t waste your chance, take it!
